FAQ
Work follows the elevator safety code (ASME A17.1 / CSA B44) as adopted in Ontario, and devices are licensed and inspected by TSSA.
Sometimes. A partial modernization (controller and drive, or doors) can be the right first step if the machine and other components are in good condition.
The order lists deficiencies and a deadline. We quote and schedule the corrections so the device stays licensed with TSSA.
When parts for the controller are hard to source, callbacks are rising, or inspection orders keep recurring. A condition survey shows whether you're there yet.
Equipment age and type, controller generation, parts availability, inspection history, callback log review and a recommended scope.
Services
High-rise modernization planned around peak traffic.
Accessibility improvements combined with modernization.
Maintenance set up properly for new equipment from day one.
Fault response backed by a plan to stop the next one.
Controller, drive, doors and fixtures replaced in a phased, occupied-building programme.
We read the inspection report, quote the corrections and schedule them before the compliance date.
Halton Region
For larger Oakville buildings we sequence modernization car by car, coordinate with property management, and keep at least one elevator in service throughout.
Typical scope in Oakville: new controller and drive, door operators and restrictors, hall and car fixtures, and — where needed — machine replacement. Shaft, rails and car frame are usually retained.
Cold winters, road salt and grit wear door sills and tracks, and hydraulic cars slow down in unheated spaces.
